Modern trade offers various channels through which we can reach customers. It is no longer enough to be just offline or online, so we prepared for the challenges to trade in the 21st century, we must engage in all possible channels in most ways.
Ognyan Lahchev began his career in online marketing in 2009 as part of the team of the online platform Aukro.bg,
part of the international group Naspers. In the period 2011-2013 he managed the project, which achieved over 450,000 registered users in Bulgaria.
In 2013 Ognyan joined eMAG.bg, also part of the Naspers, as the first employee of eMAG in its Bulgarian office. It is one of the founders of Bulgarian eMAG Marketplace, and currently manages the team developing the platform.
He has extensive experience in Bulgarian and online international trade, as his career was involved as technical projects related to the operation of online platforms and business development of the Marketplace through establishing cooperation with vendors and sales management.
During his presentation eCommCongress Ognyan will share what the Marketplace platforms that note 2-fold growth of the overall online
trade, which is impressive given their size.
